2jz swap
let me preface this, yes i have searched and yes i am more then capable to do this swap. i am not looking for negative responses.
after searching i have come up with that if i use an aristo swap i need to swap left/right mounts and use later model rubber mounts.
my question is, if i use a na 2jz out of a gs300 will i still need tto use different mounts or will it be a more straightforward bolt on affair? i found a great motor set out of a gs including everything i will need. i am going the na route motorset because i am getting everything for 600 dollars. i am going to open the engine and use gte internals and tt hg with arp studs then use a smallish single set up and a ffim. i know a few have done this swap but like i said everyone has always done the aristo swap.
lastly is there anyone that does wiring to mate the harnesses? i can do any mechanical work but when it comes to more then basic wiring stuff i am at a loss and have no problem paying for it. or should i keep the stock lexus harness and ecu intact and run a standalone for simplicity?
thanks guys i am excited to get started on this. i bought this ls as a daily driver but its quickly becoming a toy lol

actually it's not that unique. retrodrive did a proper 2jz-gte swap a long time back, recently a couple guys attempted a 1jz swap, and i remember hearing of at least one other 2jz swap in the US at some point in the past few years.
dr tweak aka phoenix tuning can probably do the harness for you so it's mostly plug and play.
I can't recall the combination of mounts, i BELIEVE it involves using later year (VVTi) 2jz mounts (ala GS or IS300) and using them backwards, i forget.
if you're using another other than the factory auto you will be doing custom rear mount for sure.
