Wait a minute. Was that front support cut out for intercooler clearance? Are you going to reinforce the front?

well ive been slack on updates the car is running great i took it to the track last month and melted two pistons on cylinder 5&7 which is kinda common for ls engines so i got another motor and got it back going here is a little video of the car idleing after installing the second engine

cool swap, I love the 5.3 motors. I dropped one in my old IS, but yanked it back out and stuck another 2JZ in

Sweet build, glad to see someone thinking outside the Toyota box. Turbos love autos, it's hard to stay in boost as you left off to shift. The TH350 is just as stout as a TH400 if built right, however the Power Glide 2-Speed seems to be the quickest at the track. I'm curious to what your using for engine management, stock ECU or standalone? I see your running water/meth injection, but just curious to see if you had any pictures of it.

I also see your from ND. Ever come to Minneapolis? Too bad you didn't make it to the Hot Rod Power Tour, this thing would've been a hit. I know there's a few guys running turbo'd 5.3s in the 11's from the Grand Forks areas.

A 200R4 would be a great choice also, they have a very low first gear, they're cheap, can be built easily and has OD.

Sweet build. Have any updates? Any track times? What are the dimensions of the front sump of the oil pan you made? Mainly from the from of the motor back?
