Default Starke Coilovers

My UCF11 shocks and struts were blown so I replaced them with Starke coilovers, I think they were called SS or something. The car feels better than I could have ever imagined. From what I've read others posting about new shocks, these might feel a little too stiff for some of you.

I don't know what else really to say about them. Install was as straight forward as any other coilovers. If I can get home before it's dark, I'll try to post some pictures.

I was going to wait until after the five speed swap to install these but the ride quality was just too poor. The five speed swap will happen soon, I'm waiting on parts.

Nice, I think you are the first with these coilovers. The majority of us use Megan Racing. How much were they?

Nor have I. There was a group buy for them on here that just ended. The group buy price was $700 shipped.

I even had time to get the car out and take pics. Bear with me while I try to figure out how to post an image.

I woke up, put my work boots on, and got to work without changing out of my pajamas.

nah you're not the first. my friend (gs3mike) with a 99 ls had them on his car and he said it rode like crap so thats why he switched over to the megan ez streets.

the starke coilovers do look like an exact rep of the megan ez streets tho. just different color finish on the coilovers.

They do look like megans, just different color. I only paid 620 for my megan ez brand new. I wonder how much lower you could go with these over the megans?

the starke's can slam for sure but megan is more reputable. my buddy who made the switch from the starke's to the ez's says the ez's ride alot better.

my other buddy bought his ez's for 500 brand new for his 91 ls, he's got that manager hook up tho.

I never claimed to be the first. The ride is definitely harsh for a luxory car but if you want a sporty feel they're not so bad. If I can get a hold of some 2x4s and the weather is good, I'll see just how low they go. Being the genius I am, I forgot to measure the fronts before installing and got my second jack stuck when trying to free the first jack.
