Default my audio journey into crazyness.....

been 7 days of work here and there and im still only 70% done :/. it will probably take another month for me to finish this project but im in no rush. I hope this becomes very helpful for anyone interested in install car audio into their ls400. i'm a crazy audio head so i tend to go all out. I haven't really seen anyone post up a full fledged build. i always like to be hands on. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask.

Minor cabling

Hasn't gotten to crazy yet

One door open!

Second door open!

Third door and more parts falling off

some how all this stuff ended up in my garage xD

do you guys think im crazy yet

more pretty wires xD

its alive!!!

should i call an electrician?

good stuff, new wiring to all the speakers, 4chan/5chan amp, and sub? (and headunit, obv).

not the first, but you don't see it everyday.

member Suneet (WAYYY Back when) had a full audio setup in his '94 LS.

Man, you are going H.A.M. on that setup. I wish I could hear the end results.

As PD mentioned, we don't get to see the documentation of the insides apart like this.

Nice start. Take a look at my post in the audio setup thread and I might have even started a new thread on my build.
Eclipse AVN5510
Hybrid Audio Technologies Clarus 61-2
Stereo Integrity BM MKiii x 2
Massive Audio NX5

You might want to deaden the doors before you put the cards on. I found the exterior door caps rattled without it.
I deadened the crap out of the trunk as well. I still need to do the wall behind the rear seats and the floors this winter.

I'm going to test everything out for now and see if i need deadening for the door. Last time they didn't even rattle. The LS400 are built pretty solid thats for sure!!! I shall take a look at your audio setup

If you look in the engine bay you will see a big grommet going into the firewall. This grommet houses all of the main wires that plugs directly into your ecu and etc. i ran my power wire through that grommet. just poked a hole and pulled it right through very very slowly making sure my power wire was straight i really did not want to drill a hole through my firewall. If i chose too i probably would of taken a lot of the dash out just to play it safe!!!

you can see the big grommet on the left in this picture

What dampening panels did you choose?
