Default Vol. Autoadjust

Hi

I have a question

Does the 99 ls 400 has the feature of raising the volume of the audio system when going faster to compensate the noise?

Coz mine is changing it's volume on it's own but unrelated to speed if it has this feature tjen may be mine is broken

My '97 is doing this too. I'll be driving down the road at 55, and it will randomly get louder on its own.

yes, it does. it's the button next to the cassette deck. 3 letter acronym that i can't recall. basically normalizes the volume based on cabin noise levels.

Nah, both the rear speakers are just a few months old. It did the same thing with the factory speakers too.

My problem now is that the cassette adapter for my iPod makes a lot of noise and then ejects itself after a few seconds/minutes of play. Tried another adapter, same noise, same eject issue. I saw others recommend a head cleaner, so that's my next step. </threadjack>
