Mine has been sitting for 6 months now because of ALL these same issues. Last scan revealed a throttle position code. Somedays it will idle and drive perfect under lite throttle and no CEL...Other days it refuse to idle at all and runs on 4 cylinders and CEL is on...its a moody sombiatch but I am about to EbaY a reman ECU...Does anyone have a link to removal of my ECU?????

Just to update, as expected, the ECU was the problem. Had it rebuilt for $179 and the car runs as well as or better than it did before.

 

Please tell me where you had yours rebuilt cause my mechanic just called and said mine needs to be replaced. Thanks

 

I saw an EbaY auction offering rebuilt ECU for $179...Mail your end and they mail it back. Is this what you did?? Thanks Joe

Yes that is exactly what I did. It was a place in Florida. It is my father-in-law's car so he arranged the service and the payment through his ebay account, therefore I don't know what the seller's name is. If I recall they are in Ocala.
