98 ls Random increase in RPM
Hey guys,
I was driving on the highway yesterday at the speed I drive every day, around 70-80 mph, my rpm's usually rise to about 2500 with a steady foot on the accelerator, for some reason yesterday the car was really pushing it rising to 3000+ , I know for a fact this isn't normal cuz I know how my car drives... It just seemed as if I was really straining the engine... After driving today, it was back to the normal 2000-2500 rpm... What up with that? Please provide an answer cuz this doesn't seem right...thanks
