Will the front bumper of a 98-00 fit my 96 or will I have to do a lot of adjustment to get it to go on????

 

will not bolt on, headlight shape and mounts are different.

can be made to fit with mods, but you will need some bodywork experience.

 

Yes it will here's mine with a Lsportline bumper.

 

I was eye balling the slight differences myself...It looks like, since our 95-97 headlights are straight instead of curved, one would just have to cut the curved part from the 98-02, assuming that the mounts are about the same.
Mike, does this sound about right.

 

You must cut out the section that goes between the light and grill and also add a small section at the base of the corner light.
