Default Seat Compatiblity

My LS is a 1991. I have found a pair of brand new seats out of a much newer LS, I have not gone to see them yet, but they are tan, so Im hoping that the color is close. What in wondering is if anyone knows it the attachment points remaines the same or if they changed from year to year.. also if the electrical connections changed.. Thanks

I know the plugs have changed. Not sure about the rails. You can splice the wires though. Memory might be a problem.

I believe Och did this and the bolt patterns didn't align perfectly but he did it. Search his posts

I am guessing the colors would be different. You will have to get the wiring diagrams for both.

I did LS430 seats into 94 LS400, two bolts aligned, two didnt, so I made some custom brackets.

Wiring was easy, I cut the plugs from the old seats and wired them onto the new seats. Have a lot of shrink tubing and electrical tape.

The car was totalled in a freak roll over accident and the seats didn't budge at all, so the way I made the brackets really worked.
