On a '99 LS400(non-air suspension), does setting the ECT to Sport mode change anything else besides the transmission shift patterns? Like steering feedback? Has anyone observed a significant difference in gas mileage running in Sport mode constantly? I read somewhere that in normal mode the timing is slightly retarded between shifts for a smoother operation, and that the Sport mode either reduces or bypasses this process for a 'snappier' gear change, and that the throttle response time on the 'drive by wire' system is decreased.
