Default 1996 ls400 PLEASE HELP

I have a 1996 ls400 it is running rich and it idle ok but takes forever to get up to speed there is no check engine light on .I have cleaned out the egr valve but i just had back surg so i cant afford to take it somewhere to have them fix it any ideas would be appreciated

check your air filter, and clean your mass air flow sensor for srarters.....

The onto the O2 sensors and coolant sensor.
How many miles on your car?

Is the car getting up to normal operating temp? If it isnt, it might be a stuck open thermostat.
