Default Engine Code Definitions

Our '93 ls400's engine light came on and the mechanic said that the code indicated that the fuel was lean..code 25 I believe. Mechanic stated that the trouble could be any of 10 sensors that was the issue.

Any advice?

Thanks

Welcome to CL, the search feature is your freind. IF it is 25, then yes it is running lean. So did this mechanic give you any kind of estimate or is he gonna just change random sensors until it's fixed? Here's a link to show you how to check your own codes and what they mean. http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/intro/codereading.html
I wouldn't say there is 10 different sensors but it could be a few. The most common sensors would be one of the main O2 sensors or the Engine Coolant Temp sensor (ECT). The ECT is the cheaper fix. Here's a link to change that. It's for a 95 but it's the same. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...ange-pics.html
