Exclamation I bought a Wood Wheel now Need Instructions

Hey All

Well I just bought a wood Steering wheel from a 2000 LS400 on ebay.

Now I need you help and instructions on how to replace my steering wheel with out blowing the airbag or doing any other kind of damage.

You will need to disconnect the negative terminal from the battery. Make sure your steering wheel is straight. Then use the small flat head screw driver to pop out the sqaure covers on the bottom side of the steering wheel. You will need a torx bit #30 to remove the air bag. After you remove the air bag, you will need a 19 mm socket to loose the nut that hold the steering wheel. Then you will need to yank it really hard to get it to come out, but make sure you put the nut on the thread . So, when it come loose it won't hit you in the face. Hope this help.
