Please Help! Rim/Wheels are hitting calipers
My new rims are hitting the calipers and won't spin! Can I get spacers to change the offset or am I screwed??? Please help!
1998 LS400.
I bought 18" Diablo Vienna rims (5x114.3), with Nitto NT NeoGen 225/40/R18s. The 'spokes' on the rims curve back (inward) and that's what's hitting the caliper. Goodyear was able to get them all mounted on car, then when they got it off the lift and on the ground they realized they wouldn't spin... at all. Can I get spacers? If so, any idea what size or where?
Thanks much

You should probobly do away with your current wheels and get some that actually fit your car. Sure you could get some spacers and fix your current problem but in a month you will realize you have no fitment and wish you had lower offset wheels.

Verifying vehicle fit prior to ordering is important. To clear, you'll probably need either 10-15mm spacer and depending on the offset, you may rub. The rear no problem but they will probably look sunken in compared to the front so if you want to match, that means spacers in the rear too. For about $225, you'll be rolling.
The better solution is getting wheels that fit properly with high disk brake clearance in front.
