Default Dome Light Out

The front dome light or interior light is out in my car. I thought that the bulb was out, so i went to autozone to buy a replacement. I went with an led bulb for kicks but when i replaced it, it still didnt work. The only bulb that is out is the main one, not the two map lights. All my other electronics work, but i checked the fuse anyway, which is fine. I even replaced it just in case. I've searched the forums and cant find anything useful. All the other problems i've read about are having multiple things out or water damage, but not just one bulb not getting power. If i've missed something please let me know.

did you use a multimeter to confirm that there's 0v going to the contacts?

On the LED bulb, did you try flipping it around to see if that worked?

You should feel happy that your dome light problem is solved.
