A.C. compressor
I have a 92 Lexus LS 400, I just got it out of the shop after 14 weeks ,starter replacement the guy that did the starter could not get it to run.It would turnover but not not fire . He ran out of ideas on what it could be, so I brought it to another shop and he found . a broken wire between the cam position sensors and the computer. Now the A.C . compressor is toast, car dies at idle and engine lugs down while driving. HE unplugged the a.a. comp and it runs fine ,has anyone ever changed there own A.C. compressor? looks to me like the easiest way would be to pull the radiator out and go from there. any help would be appreciated, I have alresdy spent more money on This car than it's worth thanks. Bill
you don't have to pull the rad to change the a/c compressor, you can snake it out through the bottom. just undo the top plate, front two fasteners, and the side bolts which are kind of hidden
