Default Driver window problem!!

plain and simple.. had my windows down all day on a nice sunny day..now the driver side window will not go back up! i hear no noise or anything. all other windows work fine. i wanna figure out what i can do before i go out buying stuff! help please!

This happened to me. More than likely it is the contacts on the switch. Mine were arcing and covered with carbon. Take the switch out, clean up the contacts with alcohol or electrical contact cleaner, and see if it works. If not, you may still be able to get the window up with the plastic rocker cover removed.

thanks for the help guys! sooo..i took apart my master switch. the contact points were corroded. i sanded it down to clean it up. still had no power. so i sodered (sp) the contact points to get a little more contact..still nothing. possibly a bad window motor?? the motor is like impossible to take out!! its been almost a week and gahhdamn rainy *** Seattle is not helping!! and i refuse to use a plastic bag lol
