I'm looking at buying a 98 LS 400,sounds good and everything, will have the dealer run the vin to check maintenance history,has 130k on it.It's a purple looking color, don't really know If I like it, so I took another ride pass it again at night to see how the color looked and i can live with it, but here is the question, does the clock near the radio suppose to be on all the time? When i looked in the car the clock was on!? Any help would be appreciated.Thanks in advance.

in my 99 it stays on, but not the back lite, unless the ignition is on.
