is it a lot of money to fix a head gasket seal?

i got a 90 lexus ls400

when i start it up it smoke white really really bad and the guy i got it from said its a head gasket seal that needs to be fixed and that it is an easy fix and should be cheap?

i think headgasket is hard to fix or am i wrong? or maybe something else is wrong with the car?

sheon i'll help you out this time
get a set of vacuum nipples
now cap the two vacuum lines on the power steering idle-up valve (its on the pump) and the two lines on the intake. one is on the pre-throttle body intake pipe and the other is on the intake manifold itself, on the front. at least on my car.

or maybe its not my headgasket is there some other things i can check to see if my headgasket is really blown?

is it that hose and those other 2 things on the bottom? once there is no more fluid it should stop smoking?

but it would be bad to drive with none i take it? lol sorry im like a dumbass when it comes to cars but im trying to learn here -_-

some things i noticed thats probably why the temp gages go past the half way mark...
