So, we have a 1998 Lexus LS400 and for the past year or so has been doing this annoying thing where sometimes the A/C or heat will just stop blowing. Then...it will turn back on! Many of times it will turn back on when we go over a bump, funny enough.

If you put it on "outside air" when moving, the blower seems to work as cooled air will come inside the car. We have checked and none seem to be burnt out. I'm thinking perhaps a loose wire?

It hasn't at this point been annoying enough to go through the trouble and money to diagnose and fix, however it seems to be happening more and more frequently, and I'm beginning to wonder if it's an easy fix. We live in a very temperate climate (San Diego) so it's not essential that it always works.

Does anyone know what could be causing this/how difficult of a fix this is or if it's a known issue?
