Ok, as far as the intake goes I'm looking for somethin that I KNOW will add power, even if it's 5 HP at 5000 RPM. I know this has been asked over and over in the IS300 forums ;-) ;-)

To start, I added the K&N air filter recently, just past the MAF. So it isn't really a complete intake system. There stock piping to the intake manifold thing is the same old black plastic pipe. I guess in order to be a real intake you have to do the piping n everything right? and cut a space out for the MAF so the car will run?

So, what are some brands that we know of that have an intake system that is made for the LS that has been truly ran in and out, tested, and dynoed? The K&N sounds cool, but isn't more of an american engine piece?

I remember a "dragon' intake a few months ago that was being advertised that was shortly in development, but never really made any news, and actually made the car lose power.
There was an intake for the IS that had a similar problem that people stay away from also.

I'd liek to get my car dyno tested with stock filter and K&N and see where it gets me. Anyone have any info on this?
