for this problem, u dont have to cut anything just run extra wires, power, ground, rca and remote like stated above, theres a recent DIY that shows u how to run the power thru the firewall without cutting/drilling anything so u could bring the car back 2 stock whenever u want

ok so just to be clear here...

1. I have a aftermarket Head Unit
2. I have a FACTORY amp
3. The factory amp does NOT accept RCA plugs
4. I need to know if the adapter posted earlier will do the job for me
