"no bulb" bumper light fitting - what's it for?
I have a 1999 LS400 (2nd gen, series IV), manuf. date 12/11/99. At each extreme end of the lower part of the front bumper, there are two light segments, each of which is held in place by a single screw and a "snap-plug". Photo attached to this posting.
The outermost light of the passenger-side "pair" was recently stolen so I need a replacement. I removed the drivers-side light to check wiring & part number - no wires! It's not got a bulb - the bulb location is blanked off. It appears to be entirely decorative.
My dilemma - what is this light fitting called so I can search for a replacement. I called my local Lexus dealer - he thought it was a fog light and quoted $85 for a special order replacement - seemed rather high for what appears to be a fancy reflector.
Anyone know what the part in question is, and where can it be got cheaper than the $85 quoted?
Thanks - in anticipation.

Not sure what it's called, but it was originally intended to be the side marker light in amber. It was too low to meet U.S. regulations and it's not used. That's also the reason the actual side marker appears tacked on to the bumper on the sides. It was an afterthought to meet the regulations.
Here's a pic showing how Lexus intended it to be:

Found it - go here to see it: http://www.lexuspartsonline.com/
(Never ordered stuff from here, but you can use it as a guide)
Select Lexus-> 1999 -> Collision, then click Search
On next page, select LS400 from drop down
Then you'll see a list of parts.
Front Lamps -> Side Marker lamps -> Lens & housing
Click the button for "see illustration" and you'll see the part is only like $32 by itself.
Unfortunately the part number isn't listed. On the other hand, just order it online and save some $$.

That's the "thing" I'm looking for. And for considerably fewer $$$ than my local dealer asked - to be fair to them, I probably didn't explain it too clearly.
Thanks for your help.
