Default 255/35-20?

Hey all, I just recently purchased some rims for my '93 LS400. They are 20x8.5 with a +35 Offset. Will 255/35-20s fit ok on this vehicle with those wheels? Most places seem to recommend 245/35-20, but DiscountTireDirect shows that 255/35-20s will fit also. Is that true? I may go get some tires this weekend from a local tire shop, so I was just wondering. Thanks in advance, everyone!

According to my research, 245/35/20 are recommended unless you put some spacers on with the 255s, and maybe roll the fenders. I have some rims i'm getting ready to put on that have the same dimensions as yours. With the research i've gathered, i'm going with the 245s.
