that my LS will be strictly stereo and show car.
No engine mod for me after my experience with the TC (which I'm still saving up to fix the whole damn tranny ).
My sleeper or racer will be my daily driver VW.

Oh, the for those who are wondering about the stereo install.
The LS is stripped and ready for couple of layers of dynomat.
I'll try to get some pics when we start laying the stuff down.

 

Are you going to do SPL or SQ??

 

Wait, what happened with the TC? I'm considering getting one, but if there's problems then I'l look elsewhere for performance.

Richie - me and my sponsor decided we are going to do SQ. Specificly the 5.1 Dolby Prologic comp.

Lee - it is a long story from long ago. Basicly my car was dying in the middle of driving and my mech. didn't have a clue why because the engine was perfect when tested. I decided to sell the car, so I started stripping it of its aftermarket stuff to convert the car back to stock and when they took the TC out and install the old OEM back in. Bingo, the car ran like new again. The car still doesn't run smooth because the TC stripped the tranny, so now I gotta get a new tranny. All and all I believe I'm the only one with this problem so maybe it is just my bad luck.

Lulie...how exactly are you going to get a good 5.1 in a car. Many pro installers and competitors experemented with that and never managed to succeed.

I think I will be going with horns and 600wrms per door soon

 

Well that there is still in the making my friend.
We are probably going to stick a center speaker on the front console.
Besides that it is still in the drawing board on what we are doing to get 5.1
