Hello! Can anyone tell me if a set of 2001 GS300 wheels with a 50 mil offset, 7.5 wide and 215/60/16 tires will fit my 1992 LS400 which came with 205/65/15 tires, a 45 mil offset and 6.5 wide? I do not want to shave or roll the fenders. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
This isn't a definitive answer but my next door neighbor used mid-90's 16" GS wheels with 215/60-16 snow tires on his gen 1 (1990) LS400 in the winter.
The gen 1 90-92 LS400 had pretty small brake calipers. Even my wife's 15" 98 Camry wheels were a perfect fit on my 90 LS.
Maybe someone with specific experience will chime in.
Any of the Lexus wheels with a 5X114.3 bolt pattern and 60.1 mm bore will fit the car. 50 offset is gonna be kinda small on the car tho. Sure someone with a lil more knowledge will chime in, but for reference I had 225/60/16 on my car when I bought it on stock LS wheels and had no problems at all; until I lowered it LOL!!!
