Engine cleaning
#2
Eimann Fabrik Hi-Intensity Cleaner or Simple Green are great products.
Still waiting to clean my engine for the first time however, from previous experience I cover the alternator, fuse boxes and the assc. drive belt. I seem to recall a post here that said not to get the O2 sensor wet. Can't recall the context, but wet is wet. Need to locate this before I proceed.
1. Cover listed items.
2. Spray cleaner.
3 Sit for about 5 minutes
4. Initial rinse, lightly not a direct stream.
5. Pull off plastic covering parts.
6. Start engine to get it drying.
7. Lightly rinse any remaining residue.
