PAG Oil charge for 93?
my AC compressor is really loud. I was in walmart and i saw a small can that said
"R134-a PAG 100 oil charge" "meets oem specs.
Can i use this with my car? will it help? thanks guys!

Tricky sticky wicket here, old chap.
We have a set quantity of PAG 46 (the number is the viscosity, and ours is a low viscosity) oil recommended for the entire system. Oil pools in various components like the condensor, the drier, and the evaporator, not to mention the compressor itself. If you replace any individual component, a proportion of the entire quantity of oil is suggested to be replenished. For an entire system, I think the total quantity of oil is 7-8 oz. At compressor replacement time, I think they suggest 4-5 oz oil. Condensor is 2-3, drier is 2-3, etc.
So the question is, how much oil are you down? Is the noise due to low oil? Is it due to too much oil? Too much head pressure? Too much junk?
