Another fitment/tire size question..
tried finding someone with a similar set up in the wheel set up thread but gave up a few pages in.
so just picked up a set of 19s 8.5 Front, 9.5 Rear. Offset is +20F, +25R.
they will clear the brakes, but im wondering if i need to pull my fenders a bit?
also havent gotten tires yet and tire size is something i dont quiet understand yet.. i think id like to strech, other then that i dont have a clue what size i should be looking at.

no one can really tell you what to do for your car. how low are you? what type of fitment do you like (flush, poke, sunk, cambered, etc.)? how much tire clearance do you need? how much of a stretch do you like?
best bet is finding a fitment you want to replicate and work off those numbers. general questions with no goals with get you answers varying by taste of the replier.

ok more specifically. i am looking for pretty close to flush, but want to be able to tuck.
i would like them to be stretched similar to this:
as far as ride height goes atleast as low as i am now, maybe lower.. sorry for the crappy pic dont really have better as of now.

that stretch is probably similar to what a 205/225 35 series would look like on 8.5/9.5 (varies from brand to brand and model to model, going off tires that run narrow).
by "able to tuck" do you mean rim or tire?

now that you mention it, i think 205/35-19 is "one of those" sizes. step up to a 215/235 combo. if your wheel is flushish rather than poked, which i predict it will be, you should be able to clear the fender (with a flat roll or shave) and it's a nice visible stretch. i'll snap a 235/35 on a 9.5" pic tomorrow.

this is a 235/35-19 on a 9.5. tire is continental sport contact 2 which runs very narrow. what tires are you looking at?
first one to mention my 4x4 height gets -1 cool point.

of course i want to, but i decided to keep it mild on this one. the q is getting completely torn down so i can't afford something like another cracked oilpan on the everyday driver. on top of that, i'm still not completely sold on the ls and may put it up for sale. eaiser to move with a mild (2"), comfortable drop than a stiff, slammed drop.

I have the same wheel specs that you have on ,my 93 LS. The tires I am running are nexxen 7000, 225/35/19 front and 235/35/19 rear. The rear tires are mildly stretched but the front are not stretched. My rear fenders had to be rolled and the front fenders need alittle massaging. If I would have run 215 series in the front, there would not have been any rubbing. My LS is aslo sporting TANBE DF210 springs. They are perfect for a daily ls400 on 19" wheels.
