Angry im tired of this!!!

i have had many problems with my 92 ls400 in the past few months. and i have decided to do a complete overhaul on the motor to prevent any future problems that may occur. but while i have the motor ripped apart i was thinking of maybe giving the motor a few tweaks for some more horse power does anyone have a suggestions. please keep in mind that im on a budget and i need my car up and running fairly quick. thanks for the any info that you may provide

My guess is that your engine is fine & is simply not being sent the correct information to run properly.

you would probably be cheaper to buy one of those used engines off ebay with 60,000 miles

and Damon I agree.these motors have allot going on in that department.

The best tweak is to get it running as stock first...

A healthy motor being sent the wrong signals via a damaged ECU or AFM is likely to perform exactly like what you currently have.

I would be shocked if the reciprocating parts in your 1UZ-FE are somehow damaged.

There is a very low mileage LS430 motor only for sale in the Dallas Craigslist. Might be a chore to get it to work correctly in your app. but just a thought for a fellow Texan.

That's a great idea Bali! Most people don't consider it and just want to power-up.
