Default Should I Replace My Struts While I'm At It?

91 LS w/84k miles

Next week I have my local mechanic taking the rear end apart. I'm installing new OEM UCA's / upper ball joints. We also think that at least one of the u-joints on the half shaft's is bad, so I think I'll most likely end up with two rebuilt half shafts. Maybe even new carrier bearings depending on what closer inspection proves out. I just replaced (DIY) the carrier bushings and strut rods a couple of weeks ago. I guess my question is, how far should I take this? While I have it all apart, should I replace the rear struts as well with KYB GR-2's? I know people have gotten a lot of miles out of their original struts, and my struts seem fine, but while I have it all apart, should I just bite the bullet and swap them out? BTW, I'm also replacing the upper spring seats. The rubber bellows that's part of the upper spring seat, and protects the top of the shock from debris, is all deteriorated and has pretty much fallen off. If I end up going with the new struts, I guess I'd replace the lower spring seats as well. I don't see a need to replace the springs or upper strut mounts but I'm open to opinions.

Thanks

if it's not broke, don't fix it.
(in terms of suspension)

So maybe the differential carrier bushings (2+1) while I have the rear shafts out? Any idea how difficult it is to change these?

err, i guess if you want and they look cracked. no idea as to how hard they would be, pretty sure you have to drop the diff to do it though.
