Default What are You Running on Your LS400?

I do not know why the original post was moved. I am looking for suggestions for tires for my 96 LS400. Most important is ride/comort and low noise level. What are you running on your LS400

245/50/16 Falken's on my stocky 98-00 LS wheels, and 235/40/18 Continental ContiSport's for fronts and 255/35/18 Bridgestone Potenza RE050 Runflats on my Mille Miglia wheels.....let me tell u, Continental tires are the way to go, no shimmy, and are very smooth.

Bridgestone Turanza Serenity in H rating on my 96.
highly rated in ride comfort, noise, and tread life. I just got them a month ago and like them.
The car originally had Bridgestone ER-33 which was phenomenal in ride and noise but had the fastest tire wear I've ever seen. i also had Bridgestone Potenza which was good but discontinued and replaced with Serenity. I also tried yoko's but they were so bad i returned them.
I bought all tires for the last 125,000 miles from TireRack.com and just found that it is a Club Lexus sponsor/vendor. You can read other reviews of those and other tires on the Tire Rack website. Serenity tires are currently $142 ea and if you buy 4 you get a $75 prepaid Visa Card.

245/35-20 on 10.5j +12

love htem so far

had Yokohama AVID V4s on my old stockies and those were great, have YK520's on the other LS right now and they aren't in any way disappointing either.

Hankook Ventus Prime K105 225/55 -17
Loves them. This is really good tires that improved the hole feeling of the car. Highly recommended. And I think they are quit. They are definitely more quit then my old tires. (235/45 -17 streetfighter???)

Default Mx4v noisy?

I find they are the quietest and smoothest tires I've ever owned. I am especially sensitive to noise. If you've had quieter tires, let me know which.

Thanks

i've noticed that the MXV4 get kinda noisy near the end of their lifespan but for the bulk of the time they are dead quiet

don't grip too well though...

My Michelins are new. My last LS has Bridgestones on it and they were much quieter.

Good eye Pure - yes, F452 - can't blamce it on a typo as they are nowhere close

So far I like them - no where close to performance as NT 555 but they are smooth and quiet so far.
