I need help! I have the AMF adapter, but I don't know what/how to remove the one previously on the car. It has sooo much stuff connected to it, how do I begin to unplug those stuff?

Also, to disconnect the battery, do I unhook the positive or negative?

This is my first time I am doing anything under the hood.
