Default Axle, hub or rotor?

I have symptoms of distorted front rotors, but only after driving several miles (around 20 I would say). When the car is cold, the brakes are smooth as on a new car.

Is this something to do with the front axle heating up after a while? Or the hub assembly? I'd hate to change the rotors again if its nothing to do with them.

I changed them around 30K miles ago and it helped, but it was not long before I started feeling the pulsing on heavy-braking.

Any ideas anyone?

So when stopping cold the front rotors do not pulse through the pedal and steering wheel does not shake?

As it warms up the pedal pulses and steering wheel shakes?

I pretty much have the same symptoms on my 92. Pedal pulses when stopping. Rotors are only a year old and have already been checked for warpage, tires have been balanced (hunter 9700),and bushings are Daizens. Know that I need a strut rod, but this is about the only thing left(up front) that I haven't changed. Would a bad strut rod cause some vibration while driving also? I get a slight vibe while driving. I don't have the shake in the steering wheel but can def feel it in the pedal. Can most def feel it when driving highway slowing for a ramp, not so much just driving around the city. Any thoughts??

Yes, that is almost correct. Seems like the entire front of the car shakes, not just the steering wheel. Never noticed the pedal do anything though.

Go ahead and check your bearings to see if they are shot by jacking up the car, and pulling back and forth on the wheel in the 12th and 6 o'clock position. If you can hear a slight click, your bearings are shot.
