I was on the hi way yesterday and heard and felt a HEAVY thumping sound coming from the left rear wheel.... it felt like the wheel was about to come off. any idea what it is? a bushing maybe? HELPPPPPPPPPPP i have a 91 LS400

 

May need to provide a little more info. HOw is the ride? Is this doing this only at highway speed, or always? Are you running aftermarket wheels?

 

check:
-lug torque
-wheel balance
-tire for bubbles (inside and out)
-rear carrier arm bushings
-rear diff bushings
-for the hell of it, rear trans mount

Make sure your P brake is fully released.

 

Have you tried turning down the gain on your subwoofer amp?
