Default Fan bracket replaced

Ok so what i thought was a bad waterpump was really a bad fan bracket or also called a waterpump bracket (by toyota), all in all it wasn't that bad of a job about 3 1/2-4 hours in all...i also replaced my caps and rotors too...i bought my fan bracket out of a parts store (to get it that day) and payed $228.00...now that i have the part # from toyota and the toyota box...i'm going to see how much the part is directly from toyota...i'll let you know in my next post...now its onto my next diy project....idle-up valve replacement on the powersteering pump.also a delayed-clicking sound in my starter before it finially starts.

i did a fan bracket assembly with a aftermarket one and it cost me about 80 for it on ebay. worked fine other than the fact that the 2 holes that the a/c bolts went in werent threaded far enough. but it was a easy fix with some washers. it was worth 80 and so far no problems but its too early to tell.

I just did mine 2 weeks ago as well, I had Carquest get me the Aisin boxed version, part number is FBT-001, same thing as the Toyota boxed part.

And for those of you who want to go somewhat cheap, Dorman makes a clone of this and so does Four Seasons, the Dorman p/n is 300-804. The Tundra/Sequoia/LX470/GX470 use a similar bracket but it's missing a M6X1.25 bolt hole for the coil and coolant bypass hose bracket.
