92 LS400 Trunk Leaks
#2
My LS sits outside & twice a year I vacuum & clean the rubber trunk seal.
I think most would be surprised at the amount of compost that collects around the rubber that seals your trunk from water.

I've got the same problem with mine at the moment, the bit where the seal goes vertical in between the inner and outer taillight on each side fails to seal and the water runs down there into the trunk.
You might have some luck pulling the seal off and resealing it with a liberal application of some sort of sealant
Mine was actually so bad and ignored by the previous owner that there was quite a bit of rust there before I ground it out and repainted it.
Repairing rust isn't something you expect to have to do with a lexus!

Well, my 1991 has never leaked, so I am lucky I guess.
Could be your power antenna seal leaking. I had a 1985 Mercedes 380SE that had what appeared to be a good antenna seal, but when it would rain, water would enter the trunk and somehow would get into the right rear floor (antenna was on the driver side). I thought someone was crazy when they told me it could be the antenna seal, because I was wondering how it was getting to the other side of the car and inside, but it was true. I bought a $3.00 antenna seal and never had water in the trunk or that floor again. Thankfully I caught it early, because my floor pan was still like new - - too much of that and that floor would have been history.
