Anyone remember when Lexus had a commercial which showed a man hitting a piece of sheetmetal.
Lexus said the sheetmetal was "resin"
Two pieces of sheetmetal with a epoxy or sponge like material that would reduce noise and dampen vibration.
I don't think they use that material (metal) anymore.
