My 91 LS 400 cut off on me on the hywy, this happen twice once yesterday and the samething about3 weeks ago, im driving about 50mph then my rpms just started dropping slowly so I shifted into neutral and kept reving the gas then shifted back into drive and she was fine, whats with this? do I need new plugs a tune up ? by the way my car has 212,000 miles

 

Dont think I have ever heard of this symptom before. Does it just totally cut off? Besides a tune up,,would check the fuel pump as well. Sounds like the pump is not working correctly.

 

it could be the pump cause I lose gas power, how hard is it to change the fuel pump, is the a tutorial for it?
