Quick ECU Swap Question
I searched around and I've read that the JDM ECU will fit into a USDM LS400, so I may be swapping for a MINE's ECU. I've got a 1992 LS400, and the ECU I'm looking at is from a "Series 1 1992" so I'm sure it's a direct fit. Only problem is, in his pictures, the ECU mounts are on the opposite sides, and he's missing 1 of the green plugs(not sure what it is).
Do you guys know if the mount/plates are removable/interchangeable to be on the correct side, and would putting one of my old plugs onto the ECU work? I be hoping I don't have to modify it.

An update for you all.
It actually wasn't a MINE'S ECU, but it's the same concept. It's a complete replacement ECU by "Blitz Access", or "Access by Blitz", or whatever it is. It's supposed to do very similar things compared to the MINE'S: shift-points, revs, and whatnot.
It has already arrived, and I'll be swapping it in a few hours. I'll let you know how it feels after some small test runs, but I'm not too sure if my engine would be able to take 7000+ RPMs, so I don't think I'll be flooring it through for awhile. Anyone want some pics of it? I might take a few before putting it in, especially since I polished it back to purty-shiny.
Also, I'll most likely be doing dyno-testing within a month. That is, after I get a compression test and confirm if there's any leaks and stuff. Don't wanna blow my engine, since it has 326,000km. I'm hoping to do 4 runs: stock intake with stock ECU, Lexkost intake with stock ECU, Lexkost intake with Access ECU, and stock intake with Access ECU.
And one more question: How does a dyno-test generally happen? I've never done one before, and don't know anyone who has. How much time would you think it'll take to do the 4 tests I mentioned, with the part swapping and all?

I've put the ECU in, and driven around a bit to get a feel for it... All I can report through the butt dyno is that the low-end torque got a decent boost, and the transmission shifts fast enough now that my passenger didn't even feel it. There was also slight changes to the shifting patterns between normal and ECT mode. Haven't hit the rev-limit yet.
Small problem though, it's now throwing the Check Engine light, and Trac Off is always there. Doing the diagnostics check, it reports code 56 for the engine. Testing the Trac diagnostic just makes the airbag, ABS, and cruise light flash indefinitely. Anyone have a clue what these mean? I've never even seen code 56 anywhere before.
EDIT: Oops, now that I think about it, it was probably codes 5, and 6, rather than 56. Still, I wouldn't know how to fix code 6, and the TRAC would still be dead.
