alters shift timing and firms up the shifts as well.

I don't understand how people says it does nothing.

My PWR/NORM options are like night and day.

Mine engages two jet engines that come out of the doors. It was only available on my car only though because I own the only LS-F ever made. Fried rice anyone?

95-97 it changes it alot, but on the 98-00 model its just like a 200rpm difference in shifts.

It does make a difference! It wakes up the car. I definitely feel a bigger difference using it in the LS versus the ES I used to have. Also a must when you have a full load in your car. However I do find that I burn more gas with it on so I use it conservatively. If you don't feel a difference using it, you may need to service your ride.

I use it for passing on my 94 (and racing). It makes shifting more aggressive (downshift earlier and upshift later). A pretty big difference.

Essentially the transmission moves from trying to keep the engine reving as low as possible in NORM, to trying to keep the engine as close as sensibly possible to max horsepower.

I modded my Power switch to shoot a little laser out of the grill to kill baby squirrels that run out into the road a head of me.....all that while firming up my shifts... its great.
