How come they dont sell Rear brake pads but sell rear rotors?
Need to change my front rotors and pads, but is it necessary to change the rear ones as well? I do understand if I change the front right I should match it with the left as well, but does the front and rear need to be matched? Or can I do it at a later time?
Also how come tirerack sells rear rotors (BREMBO) but no pads to go along with it.
Please help soon, my front right brakes shutter vibrates the whole car when braking.

I used a dial indicator to see how warped my rotors were - depends on how mechanically inclined you are or if you just take it to your mechanic. I was able to resurface all 4 rotors for $8 each and install new pads - now the car is smooth again.

Oh i forgot to mention I had the rotors resurfaced a few times in the course of 18 years so they said its too thin to resurface from now on thus why i need to get new rotors.
But My other questions is do I need to do the rears since I will be doing the fronts?
cause I know left and right must be done at the same time but does front and rear need to be done at same time?

Ahh - since the rotors have already been turned, it sounds like new units are definitely required - I second the Brembo blanks. They are a great replacement - especially from Tire Rack.

Okay I am settled with the Brembo blanks...
Actually I would love to get the rears ones changed too but on tirerack I only see the rear rotors but dont see the brake pads that go along with the rear rotors? Am I not searching correctly. Please help....
Which doesnt make sense cause when you get new rotors I thought pads should be new too, of can I use another manufacturer with the brembo blanks...I wouldnt want too but if I have too than so it be.
also I am qouting this...
"great if you can break them in properly, i did a track day at sebring today and they were warped from the street use and only got worse. if u get them break them in properly!!!!"
Do you really have to break them in and if so what is the proper way of doing it?
