yeah, the climate controls went into the upper glove box, since the CD changer was no longer gonna be used.

Update: Just ordered the Metra double din dash kit including harness for $31 shipped off e-bay, didnt want to cut my wiring on my UCF11 so this will fit the bill & integrate into the factory amp. Not affiliated with this guy, but they sell genuine Metra kits very reasonable, here the link:

http://cgi.ebay.com/1993-1994-LEXUS-...713.m153.l1262

The actual one I bought for the wifes 94: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=130224594798

When it arrives I can get started installing the AVIC-D3

Any easy freeair sub upgrades that actually work? Kicker, etc?

metra does make a kit however...or autotoys...

Hello,

I received the metra kit last week. But I still need the wire harness. I want the OEM sub working, too!
First wanted to install the avic d3 but now I will probably take the kenwood 5220.

bump....I'd like to see some more headunits, especially in 98-00.

I'm looking for something to replace my headunit with (as well as sub and I guess door speakers) but don't really know where to start.

yes, its a standard 2DIN setup so all you need is a custom harness and a 2din dash kit.
