Default 93 ls sunroof help!!!

when i got my car the sunroof didnt work. i took the plastic off and the plug wasnt plugged in and the gear on the motor was messed up. i fixed the gear with a file and got things sorted out i thought. the sun roof works now... or so i thought. the buttons change what they do. like tilt back will open and open will close and 10 min later tilt forward will open and nothing will close it.

i got it back closed after messing with it for a while but the back isnt flush with the roof. it needs to tilt up and im worried cause its supposed to rain tomorrow. my interior is going to get soaked. anyway anyone have any ideas on how to get that to go back up? the screw slot turned with a screwdriver will not suck it up so i dont know what to do..

why does this car have so many electrical things broken.. starting to bum me out.

I recommend covering your sunroof opening with some large garbage bags, or your interior will be ruined! You may have to tape them down, because the weight of the water will cause it to sink in.

What all other "electrical" things are broken?

Only thing I can think of that might help --

I've noticed in Lexus's,.. Many electronic components have a 'hidden' feature. If you hold the button down for 5-10seconds longer than normal (keep it held) whatever device it is will move another 10% or so.

IE: The steering wheel.. It will go down to its normal limit, release, and press down again holding -- Then it will go down a bit more. Same thing with the sunroof -- Try just holding the button for like 30 seconds, try each one.

Might just do something -- Never know

What all other "electrical" things are broken?
stereo doesnt work, powers up but no noise
antenna is broken
drivers side window switches dont work
pass side door lock doesnt work
rear defrost doesnt work
heater control display doesnt work
check engine light is on for god knows why
burnt tail light is on.. replaced all tail lights with correct bulbs. still on
door lights dont turn on when i open the door
rear cigerette lighter thing doesnt work(tried to plug my phone charger in it)
only the left half of my seat will tilt forward or back
headrest doesnt work

just a ton of little annoyances that i cant get to go away. previous owner must have been a tweaker or a self proclaimed engineer or something. but most of the things listed i wouldnt think to check while going over the car before purchase. im just learning what is wrong when i try to use it.

Cover the sunroof with a blue tarp to prevent rain from ruining your interior....
