1990, 300k+ miles, odo stopped at 310 who knows how long ago. bought her as a project back in may for $800, but already had my plate full with other projects so i let her go a month later. (also helped pay for my 2000 jade LS) sadly, she is already crushed by now. i sold her to someone that just wanted a cool old lexus as a daily. they hooned her to death and blew her up a month later.

Seriously? What a shame. Not even a part out?

Another earlier model gone.

AGREED! I think if I found a solid 90 I'd make it the "collector car."

Got my 94 a couple weeks back with 120K (5K/yr!!!) on the clock for $1800. Great running/driving shape, A/C works AWESOME!, interior in decent shape with the worst being a tear where your junk would go in the passenger seat, hail damage to the hood and a few slow oil leaks but otherwise very solid.

Pic is after wash/claybar and picking up some 2nd gen wheels to replace the beat up 1st gens with mismatched tires. Have since cut and polished the body, grabbed some touch up paint, and need to go back over and wetsand/cut/polish those spots to get it as good as I can, then fix the leaks. Plan is to register it after 01012019 as a Classic

Default Cheap!

Just picked up a ‘96 with 241k miles for $450. Condition is decent, needs some body work but not too much. Haven’t got it started yet but think it’s a bad ECU, but will find out in the AM. Back seat has small tear in it. Will get it cleaned up and running and see what the mechanical condition is!

1991: 221k miles, paint cooked, body issues, rear seat burned, alt fusable blown, front end shot, no title 4/10 - $400
1994: 285k miles, recurring no-start code 12 issue, extensive rust-related issues, suspension issues, white overspray 6/10 - $600
1997: Coach, 168k miles, extensive oil leak, slip-stick steering, squealing brakes, dent in rear quarter, clearcoat peeling 7/10 - $400

I also have 2 parts cars: a 93 and a 95 that I paid $450 and $500 for, respectively.

1991 101k miles, $1500. Paint on hood and front fenders is bad, clear coat is done. Interior has cracks in the bottom cushions of the front seats. Engine has a slight tick... Other than that its in great shape.

Now coming up on 50,000 miles. Just drove from Texas to Oregon. Hoping to hold out to 100,000 miles for the Timing Belt replacement. Interior is mint with a few small dings on the exterior.

I like it when people come back and update. It'd be nice if you could hold off on the T-belt til 100K but (not recommended) at the rate you're driving it the car will be 30 yrs old. That's a long time for a belt to last, not to mention all the other parts (bearings and WP) that could seize up. Have you done any other work to it in the last 3 yrs, 30K miles?

I bought my 97 in 98 so it's almost new. After 22 years, it's at 255K miles & still drive like a new car. Friends & neighbors said it still look beautiful & exactly the same as the day I first brought it home so it makes me feel proud & satisfy as its owner.

That's an insanely good price! Okinawa makes me think you got it from someone in the service.

I got mine for $2000 with 284k miles. California cars are notoriously overpriced but I felt this one was worth it because it was meticulously serviced at a Lexus dealership up until the 2nd owner bought it at 230k miles. The second owner owned a collision repair shop and took really good care of it as well. I'm hopeful to hold onto this thing for many years!
