Default Rear mini M5 lip spoiler for the LS.

Will any of the small lip spoilers for the BMW M5 sold on ebay fit the 95-97 LS trunk lid? There is a huge selection. If one of them could fit, (E28, E34, E39, E60, etc), could you be specific which one.

Measured the trunk lid...49". Looks like it'll be the E34 trunk lid spoiler, 49" wide. Thanks Pure

yea, a lip spoiler is a lip spoiler, its not like a multipiece where theres a contour it needs to follow, my only issue is that iirc the trunk isnt COMPLETELY flat nor COMPLETELY straight.

The spoiler is made of poly urethane, so it is easily bendable and should follow the contour of the trunk lid just fine. I bought one of these before for a different car. It is held on by 3M double stick tape. Once it is one it sticks real good so get it right the first time

Are you getting a lip spoiler for the M5 to put on your Lex, or are you getting an "M5 Style" spoiler made for an LS400??

I know Luxurymods.com carries small lip spoilers for the LS400.

pretty much all the generic brand "lip spoilers" for the LS were originally made for BMWs or hondas.

its not really worth it since there isnt MUCH of a design difference for the manufacturers to make LS specific ones unless they can make a lot of $$ off it, which is why only high name japanese manufacturers have LIP spoilers for the LS and also why they wont sell them for <$300 most of the time.

I've know this has been asked but, "anyone tried making the lip spoiler work as a rear roof spoiler yet?"

I hate spoilers! Unless you have a Supra Turbo and the spoiler actually does something.

a couple, not cheap though...

and any "m# style" lip spoiler wont look right on the roof, they dont angle up enough.
