my car gets no attention. but then again its an AVG condition, white ls400. But all my friends love my car. Best sound system, quietest, most comfortable car of the group. Then again they get compared with sentras, camry's, accords, and civics, and the occasional buick.

My first LS400 got a lot of attention when I bought it 18 years ago in early 1990. My 90 LS400 was the first one in the company parking lot and I found some pretty big crowds around it at lunch time for the first few days. But these days, Lexus cars are so common around here that no one pays attention -- which is alright with me.
A few days ago on the way to work, I noticed that the first six cars at a stop light (including mine) were Lexus cars and SUV's -- my 2000 LS400 was obviously the oldest and lowest value of the six. My neighbors in my culdesac (four S-class Mercedes, two Porsches, a couple of Maseratis and a few other random exotics) probably look down on me for having such a lowly car.
I feel so bad....

Well its almost time for the big 90K service so I should have....but my car means alot more to me. It's the best car you can ever buy for the money.

My car doesn't get much attention at all, but hopefully once summer rolls around and I get a chance to do the first detail on the new paint, get some wheels, and lower it.. maybe it will...
... that being said..
All my friends love my car and I'm usually the one driving, becuase I have the best sound setup, I am usually prepared for any emergency, and I have good defensive driving techniques. Also, having remote start is awesome when going up the mountain for skiing, etc. And the new leather is pretty comfortable and it is spacious enough for 5 people And now with snow tires, my friend described my baby as "a tank". I think her exact words were "when I'm in the car with you I feel like you give off an aura of safety"...
... that being said..

Also, having remote start is awesome when going up the mountain for skiing, etc. And the new leather is pretty comfortable and it is spacious enough for 5 people

My LS doesn't get any attention at all. Everyone just gawks at newer cars. But I don't care. As long as their attention is on OTHER cars, just that much more reason why mine won't get stolen...
