one more thing, my heated seats dont get hot, the lights go on indicating theyre working but they dont warm up, so im thinking its not a fuse anyone know what it could be?....thanx a million guys...

Buy the belt from the dealer, because you definitely do not want a used seatbelt. I honestly would not bother with the seat heater. I believe the belt is less than $200. Buy it from one of the site sponsors such as Carson Toyota.

To fix the belt , clean the belt with soap and water as it is dirty then apply silicone lube on the upper anchor to allow it to slide.
The seat heaters work but you are not getting enough voltage to them. Replace the ground on your car .

Just to reiterate I called North Side Lexus in Houston. They confirmed it is 8 years or 80,000 miles to have them replaced at no charge.

Yes, but if you call the Lexus customer service line, and you get lucky, they may replace it at no cost. You need a dealer quote first, and it may take some time. I have the same seatbelt issue and I'm waiting for a reply.

The seat belt is a piece of safety equipment in the car. If someone gets hurt or die, even worse, if more people get hurt or die in similar accidents duo to the seat belt retraction problem and a (class) law suit is filed, it is up to the jury or a judge who will determine whether the car company will be held liable.

I am really not sure what they cost but they are likely pricey. I asked if there was some consideration the Lexus dealer could/would make and the service manager said my car was too old and had too many miles to replace for free. I would definitely ask your guy as you never know. My Lexus dealer is not into gratis work
When mine go out I will replace myself as it cannot be that hard since I have the factory manuals.
