it is a lot easier if you use the real Toyota part, I cheaped out once and used a Chinese door handle off of ebay, and although it worked and was a huge cost savings, it was a fight to get in and not worth the saved money for the aggravation of what a mother it was to install due to poor engineering on the copy - use the Toyota part, even though it seems pricey, it is not worth the fight!
