Front replacement speakers?......
'97 LS 400 with 95k miles.
Is there any sense in replacing the two front door speakers (the car has the original Pioneer system that it came with in 1997), as I have to remove the inner door panels to replace the two speaker grilles anyway? Would something like Polk speakers work without changing something else, and if they did would I be able to notice any difference in sound quality? I don't choose to replace the rear door speakers as then it becomes a genuine big deal.
Please let me know what you think, particularly if I should visit a shrink or not!
Many thanks in advance.

Do you think it is worth it? You seem to have re-done all the speakers, and I can see that your assembly would be a dandy, but would the improvement offered by just changing the two fronts be worth the hassle?
